Crafted With Kids In Mind
KidCrafted runs hands-on STEM classes for kids, craft clubs and pop-up events in Belton and Temple, TX, where kids build, tinker and make a glorious mess, and quietly learn a whole lot of science, engineering and art along the way.

Every KidCrafted session is one hour, one project, and a room full of 4-11 year olds figuring things out. Like the best STEM classes for kids, it is hands-on from the first minute: kids cut, glue, wire, fold and test, and along the way they're measuring, predicting, redesigning and explaining what they made.
No experience needed, no pressure to make it perfect. We plan for the wobbly bridge that collapses - that's the good part.
Craft is the sneakiest way to teach a kid to think
Our STEM classes for kids are built backwards from a real STEAM skill. Kids just think they're making a marble run.
Fizzing reactions, floating boats, glowing slime - with a "what do you think will happen?" every time.
Simple circuits, light-up cards, paper robots. Kids meet the tools before they meet the screens.
Build it, watch it fall, build it stronger. Structures, bridges and catapults that get tested for real.
Colour, pattern, texture and the confidence to make something that looks like nobody else's.
Measuring, halving, counting out, symmetry - the maths hides inside the making.
Sixty minutes, start to sticky finish
Big question · 10 min
We show the finished thing, break it, and ask the room how they'd fix it. Everyone has a theory.
Make it · 35 min
Kits are pre-cut and pre-sorted, so no one waits. Two adults on the floor, helping without taking over.
Test & show · 15 min
Does it roll, light up, hold weight? Kids explain their build, then it goes straight in the bag home.
Up to 16 kids, split into two age bands so the little ones aren't rushed.
Two KidCrafted leads per session, so every kid gets hands-on help.
Kits, tools, table covers, aprons, and every last scrap taken away after.
Tables, chairs, and a room we can be a bit messy in. That's it.
Turn a slow Tuesday into your busiest table
We host craft pop-ups in cafés, bakeries, breweries, bookshops and salons around Belton and Temple. Kids get an hour of making; the grown-ups stay in your space the whole time.
We run it end to end. Promotion, sign-ups, staffing, materials, clean-up. You keep serving.
A captive, spending audience. Sixteen kids means sixteen families sitting in your space for an hour.
They come back. Regular monthly slots turn one-off visitors into a standing date on the family calendar.

Hi, I'm [your name]
Two or three sentences here: where you're from, what you did before KidCrafted, and the moment you realised kids around Belton and Temple needed somewhere to build things with their hands. Parents book people, not programs - this bit matters.
Send me your real bio and I'll drop it in.
Craft ideas for the kitchen table
A free project every month, so club nights don't have to be the only making days.
The spaghetti tower challenge
Dry pasta, tape, one marshmallow. How tall before it topples?
Milk that paints itself
Food colouring, a drop of soap, and a swirl kids won't stop watching.
Cardboard creature masks
One box, one afternoon, one very loud dinosaur at the dinner table.
Questions parents ask
What ages are your STEM classes for kids?
Ages 4 to 11. Where a session mixes ages we split the room into two bands so the youngest makers get a slower pace and their own version of the project.
How long is a session?
One hour: about ten minutes of setup and the big question, thirty-five minutes of building, and fifteen minutes of testing and showing off.
Do we need to bring anything?
Nothing at all. Kits, tools, aprons and table covers come with us, and every scrap leaves with us too.
Do parents stay?
For ages 4 to 6 we ask a grown-up to stay alongside. For 7 and up you’re welcome to stay or use the hour however you like – at pop-ups most parents settle in at a table nearby.
Can you handle allergies or sensory needs?
Yes – tell us when you book. We can swap materials, skip anything food-based, and give a heads-up about noisy or messy moments.
Can you come to our business or venue?
That’s most of what we do. Cafu00e9s, shops and other venues book one-off or monthly pop-ups. Use the form below and we’ll send options.
